NCBTMB is proud to partner with Crouse Hospital in Syracuse, NY to empower practicing massage therapists with the opportunity to achieve a Specialty Certificate in Military Veteran Massage—an exclusive certificate available to graduates of Crouse Hospital’s 80-hour CE Program. This program is currently only available to NY Licensed Massage Therapists OR therapists that complete an In-Person Massage for Veterans Training with Nicole Miller.

A Specialty Certificate in Military Veteran Massage provides you with the education and experience necessary to offer safe, effective, and nurturing massage for those that experienced physical and/or psychological trauma while serving in the United States military during conflict and war. Such verification of education and training empowers you with access to rewarding career opportunities, increased compensation, and career longevity.

Using a clinical-based education model, Crouse Hospital uses a curriculum based on New York State Guidelines for Practice to guide students through group and self-directed learning, accompanied with guidance and modeling provided by experienced trainers. Students will explore the Guidelines applying six separate training modules focusing on Communication & Respect, Consent & Psychological Pressure, Competency & Scope of Practice, Boundaries & Power Differential, Discrimination, and Therapist Self Care.
